I love Pinterest. So, following a trend I’ve seen on blogs I follow, I thought “you should put up your favorite pins of the week.” Then I thought…. “hmmm that’s boring, I need a pin fail in there too.” Every Friday I’ll be posting my favorite pins and a pin fail!

I believe in the power of Chobani! Mike and I love this amazing Caesar Salad dressing from Skinnytaste.com. I’m going to use it this weekend to make some flaxseed and chia blueberry muffins!
If you follow my blog you know that Colorado weather right now is DA-RUNK. We had about 5 inches of snow fall on May 1st and it was nearly 80 two days prior. But, alas, I love Colorado. I’ve wanted to live here all of my life. I finally got here and I don’t plan on leaving.
Tomorrow is the Kentucky Derby. I lived in the South for 6 years and when I was growing up we had Kentucky Derby Parties at our house (when we lived in Pittsburgh). I love the Derby! Last year we went to the Denver Derby party for my bachelorette party and it was a blast. My friend Dana couldn’t be there and she sent me a derby cup with my new initials on it. I shall be using that cup again tomorrow with these amazing Ginger Pineapple Mint Juleps. OMG I want one now.
This is June’s Favorite Cardigan by Knitbot aka Hannah Fettig. This is a favorite because I just cast on in a beautiful sage blue. You can follow my progress on Ravelry. I just cast finished the bottom boarder. Love it. Can I go home and knit? With a mint julep in hand?
My husband, Mike, is a science nerd. He loves science. It is one of the many reasons I love him. I saw this on pinterest and got soooo excited. I found a periodic table online (sorry sophomore chemistry teacher Mrs. Chow, I can’t remember the table) and then got really sad. You can’t make his first name, my first name, our last name, or my maiden name out of the elements. Pin-fail.
